How we help older people
We have extensive experience of supporting older people to remain independent in their own homes. Our occupational therapists can provide treatment sessions to improve an individuals ability to manage day to day tasks, continue with their hobbies or learn new skills. If you are concerned about falling we have specialist knowledge to reduce the risk and make the environment safer. We also advise older people about daily living aids and equipment such as mobility scooters and rise recliner chairs to ensure they are suitable for their needs.

Referral
Complete a referral form outlining the person’s current presentation.
Assessment
Our occupational therapist will visit the person in their home to complete the assessment.
Report
Depending on your requirements, we can provide a short summary or a comprehensive report.
Treatment
Should you wish to go ahead with the recommended input the occupational therapist will arrange a follow-up visit.
